Casement Windows
There are now many other window styles available, but the uniqueness of casement windows gives them a certain undeniable charm. Available either side-hung or top-hung, casement windows remain very popular, and today are effective in giving a property a degree of understated class and style.
Unlike many types of window, casement windows are capable of being opened all the way. This makes them perfect for letting in air in the summer and providing extra ventilation, adding a high degree of functionality to their aesthetically attractive design.

Obviously when choosing windows, security is also a primary concern, and casement windows excel in this respect also. With integral multi-point locking and internal glazing as standard on all our frames, there’s also the option of upgrading to frames manufactured under the Secured by Design police initiative.
Round head, circular and lancet windows are also available, depending on size, style and application, to give your property its own unique flair.
Tilt/Turn Windows
Tilt & turn windows are a highly versatile solution for homes, offices and commercial premises. By tilting the window vertically a small gap can be opened up at the top of the frame, enabling easy ventilation of a room without creating draughts.
But tilt & turn windows also open horizontally inwards from the side, facilitating greater airflow on hot summer days. This feature makes them easy to clean both sides from the inside, and can be used in emergency situations as a fire exit.

The tilt mode also allows for highly secure ventilation as only the top part of the window is open, making it ideal for ground floors.
Fully Reversible
Fully reversible windows are an ideal choice for upper floors which are hard to reach from the outside, and are particularly popular in offices and multi-storey apartment blocks.
Uniquely, they can swing around 180 degrees on their hinges, this means that it is possible to clean the exterior window pane easily from the inside. This feature makes fully reversible windows a particularly useful option in situations where cleaning and maintenance would normally be problematic.

Furthermore, this kind of window makes it possible to ventilate a room effectively and allows greater volumes of air flow than other designs.
Vertical Sliding Sash
Also known as sash windows, vertical slider windows are seeing a rapid increase in popularity. They combine all the benefits of high-performing modern materials and functionality with period character and design.
Vertical slider windows consist of one or two moveable sashes that can opened by lifting upwards. In double-hung sash windows, both panes can be moved, while single-hung sashes have only one moveable pane with the other being fixed.
Modern vertical slider windows have the appearance of traditional housing whilst having all the benefits of today’s modern security features and thermal insulation.
